The Terrace Hostel

Located in the heart of the city, The Terrace is Antigua's first boutique hostel, boasting views of the city and volcanic landscape.

The newly opened Terrace Hostel offers guests a unique stay in one of the most picturesque cities in Central America. We consider The Terrace a 'boutique hostel,'meaning we provide the comforts of a hotel - complimentary breakfast, clean rooms with brand new amenities, The Terrace Bar & Grill on our rooftop, spectacular views, lounge, library, TV & DVD collection, hammocks, & Wi-Fi - all for hostel prices. We also provide scooter and bicycle rentals and organize 'off the beaten path' tours (i.e. volcano hiking, wine & chocolate tasting, Mayan shrines, leather factories, and more). And by the way, we are the only hostel in town that greets you with a welcome drink upon arrival!

The Terrace - the soul of the house and the inspiration behind the hostel's name - is where it all happens: BBQ, the most affordable happy hour in Antigua (offered 12pm-7:30pm every night of the week), lounge chairs for basking in the sun, a stocked bar, & a monthly theme party! The Terrace has everything today's backpacker could possibly need.
