Near the beach, but unfortunately didn't have beach towels or anything to lend out. In the Poblenou area, not near downtown Barcelona at all, but not a far metro ride. Good breakfast, very clean, friendly workers.

Right near the beach (maybe a 5 minute walk) with lots around. Beach towels available for a deposit, great free breakfast. Would recommend!

Staff was incredibly helpful and there were always people hanging out in the lounge. Great location - near the Sacre Couer. Not close to downtown Paris, but the hostel was right next to a metro stop that could get you there in 10 minutes. Great price, great hostel. Would recommend.

Great location - right in the Old Town area of the city, right by the Bock Casemates. Quiet hostel, friendly staff, free breakfast. Can't complain!

This hotel was a great bang for your buck. The staff was incredibly friendly. We were taking a day trip to the Keukenhof Tulip Fields and they let us check out late so we didn't have to take our packs with us. The only downside is that it is outside of Haarlem. It's about a 10-15 bus ride from the Haarlem train station, which costs about 2 euro per ride. Would recommend.

The Flying Pig is the most popular hostel in Amsterdam, so you can imagine the facilities that it has. They even have trivia nights and DJs come in. Excellent location and decent breakfast. Cleanliness was okay, but you at least have your own shower and bathroom in the room, so you can't complain too much. Overall, if you're looking for THE Amsterdam experience, this is the place to go. Honestly though, it's a little on the expensive side.

Overall, pretty average. Rooms and showers weren't dirty, but didn't feel particularly clean either. Breakfast was at an extra fee. Wifi only in the lobby. However, right next to the train station and the cathedral and the staff was incredibly friendly. I was having a bad day and the guy working at the bar gave me a free shot. Overall, can't complain.

I absolutely love staying in Wombat's Hostels. I also stayed in one in Vienna. The hostel is super clean with great amenities (laundry, breakfast (at an extra fee) and a great lounge) and in an excellent location (a 2 minute walk to a metro line). Staff is super friendly and willing to recommend anything. The only downside was that wifi was only in the lobby. Overall though, a great hostel. Would definitely recommend!

The staff was incredibly helpful. More than willing to give recommendations of any kind. The hostel amenities were average - breakfast was okay (but free!) and there was only one bathroom and one shower per gender for a floor of almost 30 people. Surprisingly though, it never became a real issue. Hostel Prague Tyn was nothing particularly special, but not bad either. You get what you pay for.
