Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking

General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 4 weeks prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

PLEASE NOTE: Hostelworld Guests will be charged 50% of the balance due once booked and this is non-refundable. The total balance due will be charged automatically 14 days before arrival. Non-payment will result in cancellation, so card details must be kept up to date. Groups of 8 or more guests - full payment is required 30 days prior to Arrival.

ARRIVAL - from 17:00 hrs until 22:00 hrs
LATE ARRIVALS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AFTER 10:00 PM, except by prior arrangement, when a per-person Late Access Fee is payable (Strictly no access after 22:45 hrs)
LATE TRAIN ARRIVALS - alight Banavie Station. Retain train ticket for Late Access Fee refund
SECURITY - access is by door-code issued on arrival & bedroom smart key-card (or code provided)
LOCKERS - a refundable key deposit is payable - enquire at Reception
TOWELS - please bring your own. If you forget, you can hire one at Reception
WI-FI - free, but is not suitable for movie downloading
PHOTO ID is required from the lead booker, who MUST be staying at the hostel
STAFF/OWNERS are resident on the premises overnight
DEPARTURE - by 10:00 hrs, when hostel closes for Cleaning
DAY-TIME CLOSURE - closed between 10:00 am & 5:00 pm for Cleaning & Staff time off
BREAKFAST-TO-GO - buy on Arrival. Available for collection until 9.30 am daily.
SELF-SERVE-BREAKFAST - (not available currently)
SELF-CATERING KITCHEN and DINING - guests using these facilities must clean and tidy after themselves and be respectful of other guests. The kitchen facility closes at 10:00 am and 10:00 pm daily (not available currently)
CASH - not accepted. Minimum Card Payment £5
SNACKS SERVICE - Book and pay online after arrival (bottled water, crisps, chocolate, etc)
ADVANCE PAYMENTS - Direct Bookers pay a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the (total) balance due, to secure. The remaining balance due will be PROCESSED AUTOMATICALLY 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If a card expires or payment is declined your booking may be cancelled
BOOKINGS made on a non-refundable basis are processed 100% at the time of reservation
CANCELLATIONS - refer to booking confirmation. Cancellations must be notified in writing or by email. No refund shall be payable on bookings made on a Non-Refundable basis; however if the cancelled accommodation is re-sold then a partial repayment may be made, at our sole discretion
CANCELLATION BY US - if we must cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, e.g. fire, flood, prolonged loss of power supply, governmental restriction, etc we shall award a full refund. We shall not be liable for any consequential loss incurred
GROUP SECURITY DEPOSIT - Groups may be requested to pay a 'good behaviour deposit' of up to £25 per person before their stay, refundable 3 days after stay
MODIFICATIONS - Bookings made on a non-refundable basis cannot be modified. Other modifications are accepted only at our discretion. Additions require a new booking request to be submitted online. Cancellation fees shall be applied if numbers are reduced. If date change is required the original booking must first be cancelled, when deposit fees shall be retained. A new booking must then be submitted. Deposit fees may not be credited to a new booking
SMOKING - It is an offence to smoke indoors. Please smoke well away from the building
GOOD BEHAVIOUR IS EXPECTED - we are neither a party hostel nor a pub. We do not accept Hen or Stag parties, the Trades, nor Children under 5 years. Guests behaving in a manner compromising other guests’ comfort or enjoyment of the facilities or causing them to feel unsafe or insecure may be asked to leave immediately with no refund of fees
NO-NOISE POLICY - we expect quiet between 22:30 hrs and 07:00 hrs. LIGHTS in public areas are switched off at 22:45 hours, when the main door is secured
KEYS, LOCKER KEYS or CODE FOBS LOST OR NOT RETURNED - a lost key charge of £10.00 may be charged from the payment card

Descrizione della struttura

Questo ostello è a conduzione familiare, situato a Banavie, vicino al Canale di Caledonia, un luogo con viste meravigliose sul Ben Nevis e appena fuori dal centro di Fort William. Il Lochy Bar, il Moorings Hotel & Bistro sono a pochi passi di distanza per pasti e rinfreschi dopo una lunga giornata in collina o in giro per le Highlands scozzesi. Gli ospiti possono optare per la COLAZIONE Continentale ed è disponibile la connessione wi-fi gratuita. La stazione ferroviaria di Banavie si trova a soli 200 metri di distanza.

Recentemente ristrutturato, l'ostello dispone di 38 posti letto in un mix di camere PRIVATE da 4, 5, 6, 7 e 8 posti letto, che soddisfano le esigenze di singoli, famiglie, backpackers e piccoli gruppi. C'è una cucina self-catering (a tempo assegnato) se vuoi cucinare i tuoi pasti, ma puoi anche consumare i pasti localmente. Al momento offriamo un'opzione Colazione da asporto e sono disponibili snack e bevande. Essendo un po' fuori città, speriamo di offrire una notte di sonno migliore prima della vostra energica giornata sulle colline di quella che forse potreste ricevere "in città".

I nostri OSPITI - L'ostello è una tappa popolare per gli appassionati della sfida delle 3 cime, gli escursionisti della Great Glen Way e della West Highland Way e si rivolge ai visitatori delle sfide di Mountain Bike nelle vicinanze, agli appassionati di sport acquatici e può persino organizzare una montagna guida per portarti sul Ben Nevis. I viaggiatori con lo zaino da tutto il mondo hanno apprezzato il loro soggiorno.

BEN NEVIS - Per completare tutto questo, la zona è rinomata per avere le migliori viste sul Ben Nevis, la montagna più alta del Regno Unito.

TRENO A VAPORE - 'Hogwarts Express'. Se sei meno energico, visita la scala di Nettuno o sali sul famoso treno a vapore giacobita presente nei film di Harry Potter, come "Hogwarts Express".

Vieni a vivere questo posto fantastico...! Le nostre testimonianze ci mostrano come uno dei migliori ostelli vicino a Ben Nevis.

NOTA BENE: Agli ospiti verrà addebitato il 50% del saldo dovuto una volta effettuata la prenotazione e questo non è rimborsabile. Il saldo totale dovuto verrà addebitato automaticamente 30 giorni prima dell'arrivo. Il mancato pagamento comporterà la cancellazione, quindi i dettagli della carta devono essere mantenuti aggiornati.

Se viaggi con il TRENO IN RITARDO o non riesci ad arrivare quando la reception è aperta (tra le 17:00 e le 22:00) DEVI telefonare per organizzare il tuo arrivo con il personale. Potrebbe essere applicato un piccolo supplemento per ogni ospite che arriva al di fuori degli orari di apertura della reception. Per motivi di sicurezza e protezione degli ospiti Gli arrivi dopo le 22:45 saranno ASSOLUTAMENTE negati.

PARCHEGGIO - Il parcheggio del nostro ostello è piccolo e opera in base all'ordine di arrivo, ma c'è un parcheggio pubblico e un parcheggio in strada a 50 metri di distanza.

Per ottenere l'accesso, il lead booker dovrà fornire un documento d'identità con foto che corrisponda al nome sulla prenotazione.
