Hotel Petén Express Tikal is located in the Island of Flores, Petén on the shores of Petén Itzá Lake. We have 5 rooms with air conditioning and bathroom. If you feel hungry, you are welcome to go our restaurant/bar and enjoy the meals we offer! The best plan after lunch is going to sunbath in the swimming pool or relax in the Jacuzzi. We also provide laundry service, safe deposit boxes and free wireless.
Located on the banks of the lake within the island of Flores, wrapped in a homely and quiet atmosphere. The Island is surrounded by many restaurants where you can try our typical food. There is a theatre and bank 2 blocks away and along 6 avenue street you will find a Cinema and a Shopping Centre.

Amazing air con. You will really feel the relief when you enter the room. Dorm was quite tight but comfy beds and bed plugs. Had en-suite dorm but shared facilities seemed good. The pool is nice to have too for dealing with the heat. The free breakfast is really good and packed lunch for mornings a nice touch. Towels provided. Wifi pretty good. Hotel not a hostel, but you will meet people in rooms/pool. Amigos is a much nicer looking place though with a proper hostel feel. Tours from Peten overpriced. Shop

Location is great so is breakfast. However it’s more of a hostel with dorm beds so not super social and they do overcharge for the Tikal tour, you can get it a lot cheaper in other places

More like a hotel with dorms. Very clean, reception and staff were nice, bathrooms were good and a really cool pool area. No kitchen that we saw and from a security point point of view we couldn't lock the dorm door because only some people had keys and our lockers had no keys so therefore couldn't be used properly.
