Welcome to Yellow Sun Hostel and Bar ! Situated just a short ride from town. Situated right on the Kampot river where the surrounding mountains provide an excellent backdrop for guests to see the real beauty that Kampot has to offer.
You can spend the day relaxing on our sun loungers swim or water slid by the river (free tube) or for those a little bit more adventurous we also have kayaks (2h $3.00) and Scooters available for rent. All of our staff are knowledgeable on the local area and can advise you on all the best sports to visit. At the hostel we also have tuk tuk drivers readily available for those of you who wish to see the sights whilst sitting back and relaxing. They can also take you too and from town, this is a short trip and takes around ten minutes. And we also looking for volunteer to join us (ask at the bar)
At night bit lively some (Saturday live music) you can come and join our friendly staff at the bar and enjoy drinks with our happy 5pm- 7pm Sunset cocktails 2 Free 1. The sunset over the mountains opposite our pontoon area are beautiful. 8pm- 9pm Vodka mix 2 4 1
Yellow Sun provides both private bungalows equipped with balcony's overlooking the river and dorm rooms for whichever is your preference. All of our accommodation has mosquito nets locker and fans to ensure a comfortable stay.

1. Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival.
2. Check in from 13:00 to 22:00.
3. Check out before 11:00 AM
4. Payment upon arrival by cash only.
5. Reception working hours 08;00 AM
6. Over eighteens only
7. Taxes included.
8. Breakfast not included.
9. No pets.

Best hostel I have been so far. The atmosphere is crazy good and the people are lovely. It’s a 10min drive to the city so you are a little outside from town, but that makes the experience even better!
I stayed 10 nights with my friends, so I would 100% recommend it!

I immediately felt in love with the place and I ended up extending my stay of three days. It's a little bit out of town, but the location itself is perfect. Chill vibes, lovely sunset view. Scooter and kayak available for rent. The forms are very basic, but there is everything you need (including mosquitos net, linen and towel). The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, they really do their best to accommodate any guests' needs.

It's such a chill place to stay. Super friendly staff and positive relaxed vibe all around! Get the chance to spend some time with monika, super lovely volunteer ;)
