There is a pool table, ping pong table huge commercial kitchen and a large outdoor area with a huge BBQ.
It is a moments walk to the Strand, CBD, reef HQ and all the great things Townsville has to offer.
There is a Coles right next door. Restaurants and cafes right at your door step.
There is a great pub right on the water 2 mins walk away.
They have food specials daily.

There is a manager on site daily along with cleaners that clean the property every day.
Age requirement- All guests at Seaside Lodge must of at least 18 years of age,
Our quiet hours are from 10pm- 6am.
Only paying guests allowed at the property.
Cancellations- for standard bookings you may cancel up to one day before your check in date.
If you no show for your booking, you will be charged for the first night's stay.
Check in is from 3pm
Check out is 10am
An international passport or acceptable photo ID must be presented at check in for all guests.
Please note that all rooms have shared bathrooms.
There are 6 bathrooms in total, and the amenities are cleaned daily.

Lovely and peaceful hostel with great social areas. Right next to shops and the strand with restaurants.

Arrived on site and room was overbooked so had to contact manager after hours to get a bed. When I was sent to the new bed it was dirty. Kindly, the manager upgraded me to a private room which was much better. Bathrooms were really dirty and floor in my room did not look like it had been vacuumed. Would not stay again, recommend staying in magnetic island instead of Townsville.

My only complaint is the rooms need a new AC system because the current system is way too loud. It's okay for a short stay, but no more. Pretty good location. Good kitchen with plenty of appliances. The lounge area is really high quality. It's really a nice place to relax there with the TV and the sofa's. If they sort out their AC issues this place will be onto a winner. As it's a lodge and hostel, the ambiance is strange. Not very hostel like, but that is to be expected.
