FunkyPlace is located in the center of Lovina. There is an exit to the main road and to the beach. From the beach, at night you can see the luminous plankton.

This hostel is not open. We booked a room and got there to be told all the rooms were under renovation. Luckily they directed us to a sister hotel that had room for us, but just be aware of that!

This place has so much potential. It’s a really cool hostel and I love the decor! Unfortunately, I visited during low season and was one of the very few guests. The staff acted as if they didn’t have to provide any of the services they offer on hosfelworld (I.e. spa services, live music, etc.) I tried for 2 days to get a spa appointment, but the staff never showed up. IMPORTANT NOTE: do NOT stay in the treehouse if you want to sleep. VERY loud music until 3am across the street every single day.
