Wanaka Bakpaka has a stunning view overlooking Lake Wanaka. Whether it be summer or winter the view of the Lake and Mountains show of whatever season you choose to visit Wanaka.
Our lounge and dinning room are T.V free which allows guests to relax, chat to fellow travelers or enjoy a nice glass of wine. We have a well stocked kitchen, a BBQ outside area and full Laundry facilities.
All of our rooms are clean and simple backpacker rooms. We offer a small amount of private rooms and mixed dorm and share rooms.
Wanaka has a range of activities to suit any traveler. You can simply sit by the Lakefront with a coffee and enjoy the views or Skydive over our beautiful mountains!

Enjoyed everything about this place. Lovely room and facilities. Great spaces to cook and relax in, fabulous location and great atmosphere. A bit short on fridge space but manageable. Would recommend and would stay again 😍
