Welcome to Kalunai hostel in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca. Our goal is to meet and communicate with people from all over the world.

Our shared rooms are with 2 bunk beds, mixed or only feminine with shared bathroom and fan.

Our private rooms have one double bed , fan and shared bathroom.

In our common area you can relax on the hammocks or use our well equipped kitchen.

Laundry service and bike rentals available.

Smoking area also available.

Information about Costa Rica, activities and transport.

Clean and fun hostel located just a couple of minutes away from the main road. Gonzalo is a great guy, always up for a chat or a good advice.

It is a great hostel to meet people and to socialize. The owners are really friendly and will help you with everything. Every other day there is a delicious family dinner prepared by one of the owners. The rooms were a little bit small and the beds are not the best but still a big recommendation for me!
