The Grumpy House Homely and cozy hostel in a peacefull and safe neighborhood with friendly and funny owners living in. You can hang out in our cafe where we serve a simple but tasty breakfast, and meet our guests and friends. We are pet friendly because we have a little dog and a cat. So if you are an animal lover, this is the place for you!
The dorms are spacious with big comfy and private beds. Not an awkward homestay, you can do what you want, and you will never leave grumpy!

Hostel policies:
Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check-in from 12:00 to 23:00 .
Check out from 00:00 to 11:00 .
Reception: 09:00-23:00
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included, 20% discount for homestay guests with all food items
No curfew.
We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age.
Nonsmoking.
Pet-friendly homestay ( we would like to be informed to confirm when someone books with pets)

This is a great place to stay in Danang (and yes, you should stay in Danang when visiting Vietnam!). No idea why it’s slept on but it was quiet when I was there, though that suited me just fine. Maia and Oli and friendly and helpful with everything you need. Beds are simple but cozy, the cubicles have everything you need, it’s in a great location… you simply can’t go wrong staying here!

The best homestay! The loveliest hosts with the cutest dog 🫶🏼 Maia and Ollie went with me and two other girls in two bars (+Karaoke and road bowling!), gave me tips for renting a scooter and the best vegan restaurant. Had the beat time with them in Da Nang, thank you so much! For my two day stay in Hoi An I parked my big backpack there.
