Situated on one of the most beautiful coastlines of the world, Baby Bush Lodge - locally known as 'Mtoto wa Shamba' - is a laid-back, small lodge on the east coast of Zanzibar, Tanzania. Set up by fisherman and local entrepreneur Msuli Haji from Pemba, you will find yourself in an intimate, tropical atmosphere.
Sleep in one of the newly built bungalows or 5 bedroom beach lodge with 20m x 20m balcony. Go out in Musli's traditional wooden boat and fish together with the local fishermen or snorkel on the Kiwengwa reef, eat the catch of the day, enjoy world class diving on mnembe island(10k's away, swim with dolphins, or simply just relax on the palm-fringed beach of white sand.

posizione panoramica sul piu' bel punto della spiaggia di Kiwengwa accoglienza easy comfortable,prezzo buono, purtroppo nei dorms non ci sono ne armadietti ne lockers ne safe, anche in reception non c'e' una security box, tutti si fidano, ma dovrebbe essere un diritto del cliente poter lasciare almeno il passaporto in una safe...a parte questo colazione buona carini i bungalows ... su piattaforme di legno a vari livelli e divanetti dove rilassarsi......owner helpful! da ripulire l'entrata, young

The lodge has a great location, very close to the Beach, and a couple of great restaurants. However the dorm rooms are very dirty, and there are alot of animals in the rooms, the bathroom was also dirty, and there was no handsoap. The facilities ouside the hostel are fine, the staff is also okay, however i would not reccomend the lodge, for a longer stay.

We booked for six nights and left after two. The structure has a serious termite issue! The dust from them eating builds up on your beds during the day, and they crawl on you all night. Not kidding. The staff seemed nice but difficult to communicate with because they only speak Swahili. The electricity consistently cuts off, and the wifi is unreliable. Didn't trust eating their food and most other restaurants around are either exclusively for hotel guests or Very expensive.
