It's a nice hostel for solo travelers, really nice atmosphere and it's easy to know people. Nice location, friendly staff.
Reception time is only from 8 to 20, that could be improved. Either than that, great hostel.

The reason for my score on staff is due to a single person, a lady working at the bar Browyn. She was rude and wore an angry face the whole time.
She made us cheese and tomato sandwiches with the tomato halved into two which was strange, the sandwich couldn’t close no looked like anything that had to be eaten.
On our first night we wanted to buy some drinks but she refused and said she only takes cash. On our check out day she accused us of not paying, thank God the manager went through bills.

The hostel was really lovely and calm. They helped me to organise a hire car at a great price, and it was only a 2 minute walk to Kloof Street.
