The hostel Arkabarka is situated in the center of the park 20minutes walk from the Belgrade center. By bus: 7 min. bus ride from the center of the city and 5 min. ride from the historical Zemun. There are plenty of boat restaurants, cafes and bars along the river bank close to the hostel.

the hostel itself was great! we felt misled by the free parking in the listing - you have to park a 10-15 min walk away and it is actually quite expensive. it cost us almost €25 for overnight parking.

Perfect base for exploring Belgrade, especially if you like to escape the hustle of the city centre! Not too far from the centre - a 10 minute bus ride in from just across the park and even walkable in 30 minutes if you don’t mind a bit of a walk!
The employees were so friendly and helpful and made our stay very easy! The room was spacious and the breakfast was varied and the deck is a perfect place to chill in an afternoon and look over the Danube!

An easygoing, minimal and relaxing place to be. It really is a little bit far from the actual centre of the city, like Kalemegdan, Dorćol etc, something like 20-25 min by normal walking, but it worths it in that you can so easily stroll by the Danube, have breakfast while you gaze at the fortress and stuff, chill as much as you like by the river during the evenings with a couple of local beers. The fact that its private rooms are preferred by families also says a lot for safety and atmosphere.
