Why stay with us? Blanes Hostel is not just any hostel, in our house you can live a unique experience, encourage a constant cultural exchange performing art exhibitions and other types of expressions: painting, photography, music and all proposals to help our purpose, an experience only.
We are located in a strategic point of Montevideo, a few blocks from the beach and the Parque Rodo, minutes from the bus terminal and the main tourist attractions the city offers. In addition we are in the area where the main nightlife of the city, with lots of restaurants, bars and nightclubs are concentrated pub's so you can choose the right place for you.
Our house is a very spacious, bright and comfortable period building with great light, ideal capacity for large groups.
Blanes Hostel staff will be happy to welcome you, advise you and help you in whatever you need to make your stay incredible. Come to meet us!

Check in from 14:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 12:00 .
Cancellation policy: 24 hours before arrival.
Payment upon arrival by cash.

The hostel is in a beautiful early XXth century house. The position is strategic as you're staying at a walking distance from the bus station and the old town. Accomodation and services are a bit spartan but the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is charming and tasteful. Not to mention the host's beautiful Saint Bernard dog!

They need more bathrooms and more or larger lockers and more space to store food. The showers don't get very warm. Otherwise, everything was good.

The stuff was not really professional, I did not see that they care about me as a client, nobody took a second to make me feel welcome or comfortable. Nobody spoke or tried to speak at least a little English which is strange because I travel all over the world and this is the only place nobody understands the language which for a company like this is very unusual. Thank goodness I did not booked more time because it would be totally a ripoff to pay for that terrible service. Very disappointed!
