LOFT 18 is a small, comfortable hostel centrally located in the heart of Tainan's best neighborhood. Within a few blocks you can experience both traditional and contemporary Taiwanese cuisine and culture. Taste your way through the many street food stalls, restaurants and bars in the area or explore the historical sites and temples only a short walk away.
We have a friendly cat living in the hostel. I hope you enjoy his company during your stay.
10 bed mixed dorm and 4 bed female dorm.
Roof deck and air-conditioned common area.
Cash only payment upon check-in, sorry we do not accept credit cards.
Check in-time is 15:00. Check out is 12 noon.
Reception 9:00 - 21:00.
No charge for cancellation if made at least 3 days in advance.
We provide lockers; please note guests are responsible for their own belongings.
Please keep common area clear of personal items.
We reserve the right to contact authorities in case of a dispute.
During special periods, guests who have just entered Taiwan within one month will not be accommodated. We apologize for bring you inconvenience.

The hostel is on the 5th floor and WITHOUT A LIFT. It was quite challenging unless you are young and fit.

The host was very friendly and helpful, she gave me lots of recommendations about places to go, food to try, and how to get there. She has a cat living in the hostel, who is also really friendly. I wish I could have more time in Tainan. Definitely will comeback. The only minor point is that there was no stairs, so it was a bit of an exercise to climb to 5th floor :)

10/10 Hostel. Host is helpful and has great food reccomendations. Definitely would stay here as a priority next time in Tainan.
