The Rock House Hostel

The Rock House Hostel is built over a natural ecosystem which is composed of 80% fossilized marine coral, this has a height of about 20 meters (65 feet); Some rooms have a direct view to the coral wall on which can be observed some autochthonous species of the island like green iguanas, black iguanas(Chiles), lizards of many colors, black crabs, in some cases hermit crabs and of course different variety of birds. The Rock House Hostel has a high point of view to observe the sunsets and on which you will find an antique marine cave. The Hostel has a solarium with a barbecue where you can share with other guests that come from all over the world, as well as a living room with a TV and also 2 fully equipped kitchens. We also offer a car and bycicle rental service.

The Rock House Hostel, is located on a residential area called Cabañas Altamar, this is placed just 5 minutes away from the main road, where you will find various transportation services which you can take to visit the beaches and touristic places. However, if you are an adventurer that enjoys walks and the landscape view, you will be only 20 minutes away from the nearest beach which is Sprat Bay ( Bahia Sardinas) more known as the central beach (Playa del Centro).

The Rock House Hostel, offers rooms with a sober decoration, you can choose depending on your taste and needs: King size, queen size and twin size beds, of which some have private bathrooms and shared bathrooms; they all count with air conditioning, tiled floors and wooden furniture.

En este momento queremos informarles que la gobernación de San Andres Islas esta haciendo unas adecuaciones de alcantarillado en el barrio donde estamos ubicados, por lo cual el transito de vehículos (taxis, motos, etc), sera restringido por lapsos; Mientras están haciendo los trabajos el ingreso al hostal solo podrá ser caminando hasta que la vía este habilitada en su normalidad, de esta forma estoy avisando a todos nuestros futuros huéspedes este detalle y tomen la mejor decisión. dando solucion a este inconveniente , en este momento el hostal podra ofrecerles el servicio de transporte aeropuerto-hostal , hostal-aeropuerto , por un valor de 15 mil pesos,para utilizar este servicio favor enviar un email o llamarnos. saludos
