Aien is a great hostel! Well designed, lots of space in the bunks, good clean showers, good washer & dryers, and great food and coffee available in the café. Also, close to sunset beach, and lots of great veggie restaurants nearby since it’s so close to the American village. All the guys who work there were also so lovely. Great chilled atmosphere, good big patio outside. Maybe not the best for very light sleepers, but there are earplugs. Lots of on the street and a coin parking super close by.

I highly recommend this hostel. We were supposed to stay there 3 days and we extended one week more because we couldn't leave this place. Perfect location for surfing, diving and good restaurants around.

Loved this hostel! The atmosphere was great especially the coffee shop attached to the hostel. Regarding previous reviews about the smell in the rooms: they must have taken care of the issue because I didn’t experience any bad smell. The only issue I had was that the beds were a bit uncomfortable. The rooms and facilities were very clean and the staff was so nice!
