Miramar Surfcamp

Miramar Surfcamp, in the North of Nicaragua, offers more than just the average wave. Blessed with off shore winds, point and beach breaks, it provides sets for all levels of surfers, all year round. During the surf season from March to October waves peak at 12ft and experienced surfers can easily access them on foot or by boat.
For less than a five minute boat ride to Puerto Sandino, experienced surfers can carve 200 meter long waves.
But at this rare uncrowded haven, where the waves range between 3-8ft, it’s also an ideal place for learners.

We are located in the small fisherman village of Miramar. We are around 40 kilometers away from Leon and our facilities are right in front of the beach. In addition, near to our facilities you can find Puerto Sandino and Reserva Natural Isla Juan Venado, which is one hour away by car.

Consisting of two large complexes, the camp has 13 rooms, from beach front to non ocean view rooms . There is a large open communal area with great viewing of the surf, amazing sunsets and many lounge place to hang out or work out . The hotel is locate only 40 min away from Leon which is historic city filled with culture and good cuisine.
