Backpacker's Park is a 33-bedded hostel, located centrally in Kolkata. The hostel has it's private elevator, is fully air conditioned and has high speed wifi. 3 private rooms, two of which have attached baths, are also available. We have a common area with a television and a balcony with a view of Kolkata's most attractive street: Park Street. Not only are Kolkata's main attractions at a walking distance but every prime club and restaurant is in close proximity to our hostel. This will help you experience Kolkata's nightlife minus your travel worries.
Our foosball table, play station, board games and books are a great option for days when you need a break from the bustle of the city.
Our fully equipped kitchen is open to all. We have a fridge, induction, microwave and mixer. Breakfast is on us!
All these facilities and our friendly staff, who'll be ready to give you all the information you seek, make our hostel one of it's kind.

Getting to the hostel is so weird. You have to
Enter through a big gate and walk down a dank alley to get into the slowest lift ever. Dirty and dank showers and toilets. No toilet paper. Breakfast was yummy but cold and unclear how to get it (asked a random). Sheets are kinda dirty looks like someone else used them and room is freezing at night. At least lockers are big enough to put bag in.

The hostel is quite difficult to find (especially at night, it took me 50 mins), the boss and the guys working there are nice and helpfull.
The hostel is really narrow, our 6 beds room was something like 6 sq. mt. It was impossible for 2 people to move at the same time.
The terrace is nice but the toilet were always dirty.

The place is really dirty. You can see rats in the entrance and also inside rooms, bathroom and kitchen are in terrible conditions. It's plenty of dust and rubbish.
The atmosphere is really bad. Often people steel food and other things that you leave in common place. I don't recommend this hostel!
