The popular Shinsekai is an 8-minute walk away.
Tired of the usual sightseeing?
Don't worry, this is a deep downtown that is a bit different from other cities, despite its convenient location just a 5-minute walk from the station.
A 200 yen Takoyaki (octopus dumpling) shop, an Izakaya (Japanese style pub) opening at 8 AM, a soup shop at 4 AM, etc.

I had a great stay at R hostel. Hygienic facilities and friendly staffsï¼
The bed is so comfortable that i could sleep well. the showers, the common room and the bathrooms are also nice.
They have the matching board where you can plan and find ur friends in the hostel. I could join the crews for a karaoke night in Osaka. Great idea for backpackers!

I loved my stay at R Hostel Namba South.
Takuro, Miyako and the rest of the staff created a fun atmosphere, were incredibly helpful, and made me feel at home during my stay! The room was clean and quiet, and I can’t wait to stay here aging during my next visit to Osaka!

Please stay clear of this hostel. We found bed bugs in our private room and had to immediately leave and book another place to stay while in Osaka. The area of the hostel is very sketchy and we did not know Osaka’s version of skid row is in a park nearby, which explains the discomfort of walking through the streets of this area. The hostel room itself was also very claustrophobic and had no mattresses. L It was just a mat to lie on with linen provided. Do not recommend going to this hostel.
