In the 3 days we spent here in Castro, we were rained in and had to stay in the hostel most of 2 days. Day 1 we were able to tour around ands sight seen after being given very helpful advice from the staff. Day 2 the power was out all day (which is very uncommon) and we had no where to go but the staff made the best of the situation and we ended up having a lovely time. A very sweet familial vibe here that made our stay that much better. Highly recommend (but make sure to check the forecast).

Great place and staff. Clean and friendly atmosphere. Staff seems very knowledgeable. Great location and spacious rooms. Recommended.
