HI Cancale set close to the centre of this traditional oyster harbour, the hostel is located in a natural protected area, on a beautiful beach. This unique setting is a good base for exploring the Mont Saint Michel, St Malo, Dinan, the emerald coast, the Chausey Islands and the Anglo-Normand Islands.
Auberge de Jeunesse HI Cancale - Baie Mont Saintt Michel is open 24 hours 7 days a week, accommodation is in 1-8 bedded rooms and facilities include a kitchen, common room, games room, and playground. The hostel provides free Internet access and free breakfast, with a view on Mont St Michel.
The location is perfect to live an immersion in Mont St Michel's Bay. The view is constantly changing, a paradize for photographers.
Activities like sea kayaking and sailing are easy to organise, the nautical center is located 15 minutes away from the hostel at Port Mer.

A little bit hard to find, most of the buses don’t go there. Be prepare to walk several km. Kind staff, but not really helpful. Nice location, beautiful view. Not possible to go the mot saint michel though without a car. Good breakfast! The atmosphere is like in a children camp. Most of the guests over 60y. The wifi isn’t working in the cabin. The shower are really bad and the bed is not comfortable. There is a weird moldy smell in the cabins, not recommended for people with allergies.
