El Eden hostel is located in the historic center of Manizales, very close to the most commemorative sites of the city, four blocks from the Bolivar square and very close to the aerial cable station.
In the surroundings you can find banks, supermarkets, drugstores and everything you need for your stay, it is a safe area with a lot of flow of people.

Cons:
Not a backpackers hostel:
- Tried to charge me more than agree, finally relented
- Kitchen is not available & No fridge
- There is no free breakfast as advertised - when I complained they did refund me 8.000COP/day for breakfasts
- Even though I rented a private room for around 85.000/night, I had to pay an extra 30.000COP for my partner to enter my room, or even enter the hostel!
Pros:
Good location, room 308 quiet with a window for fresh air, clean, affordable, WiFi works, hot water
