Hostel Aurora is a fun, laid-back haven for backpackers looking to break away without having to leave the city. We are situated in just 100 mtrs from Mariott Hotel & 200 meters from Weligama beach.
Our property provides FREE Breakfast by the River, while a bicycle & scooter rental service is also available.
Day tours to Galle Fort, Dutch Church & LightHouse (30 km) is also available.
At the hostel, our guests can indulge in Sunrise yoga by the river, surf by sunset and evenings in our Cafe with specially made recipes from Srilankan, Indian, Arabic & Japanese cuisines.
Terms and Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check out from 08:00 to 11:00 .

Aurora Hostel is the most wonderful hidden gem of Weligama. Even while being located so close to the beach and city it has this wonderful feeling of being secluded deep in the wilderness. Saranga is so genuine and down to earth, and he can make almost anything you want happen at the drop of a hat. Super friendly, communal atmosphere and absolutely delicious food! Really recommend for solo backpackers and surfers!

Such a cute spot by the river. Very peaceful but still walking t distance to the beach and town. Saranga is a really friendly host, makes a great breakfast for free and family dinner for 900 rupee. He also organised activities at the hostel like morning yoga which was very nice.

One of the best hostels in Sri Lanka. Awesome location with beautiful scenery. Short walk to the beach and local shops. The owner is the best! Very good attitude to all visitors and cooks amazing food. I had a very enjoyable time staying here!
