The best hostel I stayed in all of South East Asia. Rachel, Rad and the whole MM team created a group to remember. The structure has been open since August so everything is brand new and super clean. if you are in Vang Vieng for a night, a week or a month Mad Monkey should be your first choice without any doubts.

Very nice hostel and very clean, very good facilities, especially the bathrooms. Beds were so comfy and big. Only downside, because it is new and staff are new, it was quite difficult to organise things and receive assists. However the staff were very friendly and willing to help. Was not a fan on the wristband system or it all being in dollars, felt like a bit of a money grabbing scheme. Food was very nice though. Very silly that they don’t sell water.

Dorms and bathrooms were so nice. By far the best hostel bathrooms i’ve seen. Since dorms were 14 people, it could get a bit loud though. The pool area was really nice with a great view. But there were not many evening activities while I was there. Also, I would recommend renting/booking activities elsewhere due to the price. For example, to rent a buggy for 4 hours was double the cost here than it was to book at a rental place on the street. Overall it was a very comfortable stay
