On the top floor/attic of our hostel, we provide three economical rooms:
* Room Rosalie: one private, cozy, single room with no window.
* Room Mama: 8 persons mixed dormitory.
* Room Ruben: one private, big, triple room with a double bed and one single bed.
On the third floor of our hostel, we provide one economical room and two dormitories:
* Room Sander: one private, cozy double room with a double bed.
* Room Gabriel: 10 persons mixed dormitory at the front side of our hostel.
* Room David: 10-person female dormitory at the back side of our hostel.
On the second floor of our hostel, we provide one economical room and two dormitories:
* Room Wendy: one private, cozy, double room with a double bed.
* Room Rosie: 10-person dormitory at the front side of our hostel.
* Room Freek: 10-person dormitory at the back side of our hostel.
On the first floor of our hostel, we provide one big dormitory for 12 persons.
All our showers and toilets are in the corridor of the hostel.
Also in the corridor, you can find the lockers for your stuff.
Thuis bij Schell Policy and Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 48 hours before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the full payment of your stay.
Check in from 15:00 to 20:00 .
Check out from 00:00 to 11:00 . (because the guest can just drop the room key in a black drop box beside the entrance to finalize the check out process)
Payment: We accept credit card and debit card. Cash payment upon arrival is also acceptable.
Taxes not included - Tourist Tax 6.5% and VAT 9% will be charged on top of the rates per person per stay.
Breakfast not included.
General:
Reception: from 12:00 to 20:00.
No curfew.

the location is excellent, but the structure leaves a little to be desired. the female bathroom has a shower that wets everything even the toilet and there is no space to put your beauty case, it also has black stains on the ceiling. the dormitories are ok, but when you undo the bed to separate the sheets from the pillow and mattress you notice some obvious yellow and brown stains.

My experience here was terrible. I was eaten alive by bedbugs just from staying one night and I had to cancel my second night. When I spoke to the staff and owner, they were quick to dismiss my issues and said it was just allergies when my body was clearly covered in bedbug bites. They just blew it off as if it wasn’t a big deal and I was truly worried about the other girls staying in the same room as I. I had to fight and push to get my money back but they didn’t even give me a full refund.

Most of the hostel smells strange because to does not get fresh air, the women room was ok because you could open the big window. There is no atmosphere to this hostel, there is not really a common area there is one table in a tiny hallway. The shower I used was clean but it had mold (becasue no fresh air). Basically once you check in you never see the staff again. It was not a bad stay there, but I've been in better hostels for that price. Netherlands is expensive for hostels though.
