AMAR is a charming hostel set in a 1933 house located right in the center of Ericeira. Officially recognized as Europe's first World Surfing Reserve in 2011, this uniquely beautiful and traditional fisherman's village is situated just a 40 minute drive from the Portuguese Capital, Lisbon.

A good hostel, in a nice position, but the room we were in was not that comfortable, plus beside the beautiful garden I have not experienced the sharing mood that you are supposed to have in a hostel, but this could depends on the other guests that were there in the moment

Had the best stay at Amar! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean, had great comunal areas and a very fun / relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely be going back. Shout out also to Amar surf school and Ksander who were awesome!!
