The Runako Lodge is a western style house, ideal located in a safe neighbourhood close to Arusha centre. Runako Lodge is perfect for budget and long stay travellers. We welcome all travelers such as researchers, volunteers, back packers, single and group travellers.
We are located near Morovian Daladala station about 300 meters from Namanga/Arusha Road. We will be happy to assist you with all you wish.
Runako Lodge is a lovely house with different accommodation types, from private to shared rooms, depending on your choice and budget. Some rooms have a private, some a shared bathroom. We provide build in cupboards, linen and mosquito nets. You can relax in our lounge with view of the garden, books, magazines and TV. In our dining area meals are being served. We have a Wi-Fi hotspot to use with your own personal laptops/tablets/iPads as well as a fully equipped kitchen.

Cancellation policy: 48h before arrival.
Free cancellation before 2 days prior to guests
arrival, any cancellation made 2 days to arrival will require a payment
of 25% of the reservation
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Check in from 10:30 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Taxes included.
Breakfast included.
General:
No curfew.
We are not selling any alcohol. But you may drink your own in your room.

This place is fine for a one night stay. It's quite a ways out from the main area. The front desk employee Thomas is happy to take you out for a walk and to try local food. They were kind enough to let me store some luggage at the hotel during my 5 day safari.

I had a great stay at Runako Lodge, even though it is very quiet right now during the pandemic. The room was very big and comfortable, there is a large social space and rooftop with beautiful views. I also enjoyed using the swimming pool and talking with the hosts and their staff. The food was very good too.
The only issue was that I needed reliable WIFI as I was travelling for work, and there were numerous issues with it going down during my stay.

Really nice place, and the staff was really helpful. It is a bit of a walk from the main road also while I was there, there wasn't anyone else really staying there. Not really a hostel vibe in my opinion. I was very happy and the room was nice and the beds were comfy and all. Plus they have a swimming pool but I didn't use it. If I wanted to stay and relax the place was more than fine!
