My rating only reflects Hospedaje Venka as a hostel itself. When we arrived, pretty much the worst possible thing happened. Our reservation did not come through on the hostel's end. We had to book on the spot, and luckily they had rooms available. The rooms were fine, but the facilities did not have hot water for showers. They have a lovely courtyard with lots of plants, and a good view of the mountains inside the sacred valley.

I wasn’t here for more than 12 hours, but it was a lovely hostel that felt more like a hotel. Our private room was huge and very clean. We even had a living room area. Breakfast consisted of eggs, bread and fruit. Staff was very friendly and helpful!

One of the most spacious and lovely rooms we stayed in during our trip. Clean white walls & linens in our private double suite. Quiet for a peaceful night’s rest. Major complaint- no hot water! I went to the front desk go have them trouble shoot the issue with no resolution. I was taken to another room to shower there instead. The water was barely warmer than tap water for 2 minutes before I heard the warming device in the shower head kick off...back to ice cold to rinse off my shampoo. Uuuug.
