Located in the heart of Portree, capital of the Isle of Skye, and one of Scotland’s most popular destinations, Portree Youth Hostel offers a range of room types, from small private en-suites to shared accommodation, some with views over the Sound of Rassay. All rooms have USB charging points and most have individual bed lights.
Guests can opt for a wee breakfast served in the dining room or make use of our well-equipped self-catering kitchen. WiFi is free for all guests and there’s a small, cosy lounge, laundry and drying room. Basic provisions, confectionery and soft drinks are available to purchase at reception. Packed lunches are available for groups of 20 and over.
Surrounded by hills, Portree sits in a natural harbour, busy with fishing boats, pleasure craft and sightseeing cruises. The main town on the Isle of Skye, Portree offers a wide range of shops, galleries, sightseeing boat trips and fine restaurants serving delicious locally sourced food and drink.
The hostel has excellent public transport links and is only a short walk from the nearest bus stop. From here, local buses can help you explore the whole north side of the island with its wonderful scenery.
The hostel is also available for exclusive private rental.

Ho apprezzato la posizione,non mi è piaciuto molto il personale. Tra un po'neanche salutano,specie la ragazza.
Il materasso molto scomodo,pieno di bozzi ,il cuscino duro. La camera era molto fredda .non ho chiuso occhio
Il chiavistello nel bagno era rotto, abbiamo rischiato di rimanere chiuse. L acqua della doccia nn usciva bene.
Non ho usufruito della colazione,credo che 6 Pound sia eccessivo per un ostello

Bell’ostello situato vicino al centro e alla stazione dei pullman. Camera grande con bagno interno pulito. La ragazza alla reception veramente simpatica e gentile mentre un altra è stata veramente scortese e acida alla richiesta di aiuto con il servizio lavanderia, pago e devo pure vedere che fai la faccia strana? Comunque lo consiglio ma prenotate con largo anticipo per essere un ostello ha dei prezzi alti rispetto alla media

Ottima posizione, vicino ad ampio parcheggio. Un po' scomoda la reception non 24h/24, il personale non si è quasi mai visto
